Trecco is operated by Tremma Agro Limited ("Trecco", "we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through the Trecco mobile app and website, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Trecco, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.

1. Information We Collect

Account & Identity Information

  • Full name, phone number, email address, and physical address
  • Bank Verification Number (BVN) and National Identification Number (NIN), collected where required to open a wallet or cooperative/offtaker corporate account, in line with Nigerian financial services regulations
  • Profile photo (optional)

Financial Information

  • Wallet balances and transaction history
  • Bank account details you provide for withdrawals or corporate account setup
  • Loan applications, repayment schedules, and cooperative savings records
  • Marketplace listings, offers, and negotiation history

Location Information

  • If you enable weather alerts, we store the location you set for that purpose
  • Cooperative administrators may set a cooperative's location for the cluster map feature
  • We do not track your location in the background

Photos & Content You Upload

  • Inventory item images, community post images, and compliance documents you choose to upload

Device & Usage Information

  • A device identifier used to enforce single-active-device login security on mobile
  • Push notification tokens, if you enable notifications
  • Basic app usage and error logs, used for troubleshooting and security monitoring

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To create and manage your account, wallet, and cooperative/offtaker profile
  • To verify your identity, as required for financial account opening and fraud prevention
  • To process wallet transactions, loans, marketplace deals, and bill payments
  • To send transaction alerts, OTP codes, and service notifications
  • To provide weather and price alerts you opt into
  • To respond to support requests
  • To detect and prevent fraud or unauthorized account access

3. How We Share Your Information

We share information only as needed to provide the service, with:

  • Wallet and banking partners (including Xpress Wallet and VFD Microfinance Bank), to open and operate your wallet or corporate account
  • Bill payment partners (including ConnectHub/Clubkonnect), to process airtime, data, electricity, and exam-fee payments you request
  • SMS and messaging partners (including Termii), to deliver OTP codes and notifications
  • Cloud infrastructure providers (Amazon Web Services), who host our servers and data under contractual confidentiality obligations

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Data Security

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) for all data sent to and from the app, store credentials securely, and enforce single-active-device login on mobile to reduce the risk of unauthorized account access.

5. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active, and afterward as needed to comply with financial recordkeeping obligations under Nigerian law.

6. Your Rights

Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act, you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, subject to our regulatory recordkeeping obligations. To make a request, contact us using the details below.
